How to set the print format on the Seiko TP-5

This setting changes the print format as a whole.

The print format option determines the how the printing from the Seiko TP-5 is formatted and can be selected from one of the following styles.

Y=Year, M=Month, D=Date, DOW=Day of the week, H=Hour, Min=Minute, S=Second, C=Comment

If you need to set or alter the print format on your Seiko TP-5 time clock, follow the procedure below.

If you haven't already done so, with power applied to the Seiko TP-5, unlock and remove the top cover.

Press the SELECT button as required to position the "" mark under the PRINT ORDER option.

If the display shows "9999" when entering program mode, you are required to enter the four digit password to proceed.

The print format option value will be flashing. If necessary, press the CHANGE button to alter the option value.

Press the SET button to complete the procedure.
